Re: Guess whats in the Box Game!?

I don't know anything about Lagacy Subs, but if they are anything like their amps you may want to invest in a fire extinguisher! I had a 1000 Watt 2 Channel Amp pushing two 10" MTX Thunder 6000 subs in a bandpass box in my Geo Metro...talk about insane bass...but anyway the sound started getting choppy so I went to see what was wrong with it. When I went back to look at it the entire inside was glowin and it was starting to smoke. I yanked the wires off of it and threw it out into the parking lot at wendys! I let it set and cool for a bit, then picked it up and took it home....took it apart and the whole board inside of it was fried. I am a computer technician so Im used to looking over PC boards. That thing was totally destroyed. Ditched it and went with an MTX Class D Mono But I would have to agree with ^^^ 2 15's in a Cavy is gonna be borderline obnoxious! Hmm... then again that comes in handy sometimes.

Re: Guess whats in the Box Game!?

Yeah it will be fun, I figured they would suck b/c of the high wattage, I figured it would only be like 100 or 200 RMS, but the RMS is rated @ 700 and peak 1400 so yeah.

I personally wouldn't buy Legacy anything. You get what you pay for!

I was 16, had subs and no amp. I know more now but then it was a 1000 watt amp for 60 bucks. It did the job...for a bit anyway. But I definitely agree with you...never go legacy!

Re: Guess whats in the Box Game!?

I would put a pic on here but I don't feel like making an account an photobucket, and it would be pointless because the box says what it is, so I'll just tell you I got my Tein S-Tech lowering springs today for my Celica. I'm so happy. 1.4" drop. I won't be installing them for a while though...not till I get my KYB AGX struts/shocks, Hotchkis front/rear sway bars, Hotchkis rear camber links, and undecided brand of front/rear strut bars. Guess I could have posted this in the Celica forums, but they are pretty much dead
