Have you checked and changed the cabin filter?? My 2000's was pretty nasty after 75k miles, so yours is probally plugged up pretty good.

93' models didn't come equipped with cabin filters..I think they started installing them in models 97' on up

Check with your hand to see if the air is coming out the defroster? Just want to be sure that you checked for the default air path if there's no vacuum controlling the airflow. Does the unit sound like air is being pushed around but can't go anywhere? Or is it the blower motor running. Is it possible the squirrel cage on the blower isn't turning with the motor shaft? |

Re: 93 PA no airflow but the fan running fullspeed
Thanks you all for info regarding my problem. The fan unit sound like air is being pushed around, but can't go anywhere. The cage is sitting properly to the motor chaft. Could there be a vacum acturator the is stuck. Anyone who had this excperiense ? Thanks again....knuten

Re: 93 PA no airflow but the fan running fullspeed
I can't say for sure what it is, but this may be something to check. I haven't been into mine, so I don't know the setup, but it may be that one of the doors on the evap housing is stuck closed, or the actuator that controls it may be malfunctioning(which would result in the stuck door). This can be the root of the problem if a vehicle is only blowing hot or cold air regardless of the temp setting. It might be something to look into. Good luck. M

Re: 93 PA no airflow but the fan running fullspeed
Have 02 PA that acts like your 93 part of the time. When I push the temp to 85-90 it corrected itself and air began blowing out of the vents and floor. Each time the air did not come out of the vents, I increased the temp to the high limits and it corrected itself. Did this severl times and has worked ok for about 1 month as of 01-04-07. Still waiting for a permanent failure!
