Pink oily fluid out exhaust

Warmed up my 2000 Trooper this morning, about 30 degrees outside. On the ground at the tailpipe, mixed with the condensation, was a pink oily residue. I've never seen this before.

Checked my oil, black and a 1/2 quart low. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic since about a month and a half. Uses a quart every 300 to 400 miles.

Any ideas?

have you actually seen this 2eyefishclaw? (probably a silly question since you've probably seen it all with all your time working on things isuzu.)

but. . .if it is busted, how would the trans fluid get into the engine from the coolant? and how do those things get busted in there, just wear out?

EDIT ADD: just thought, wouldn't coolant then get in the trans? now that would be expensive mess!

thanks
