99 Sonata / Connecticut Emissions vs Computer

My 99 "fails" CT emissions annually because a "no ground on pin x" (can't remember the pin #) error arises when tested. Dealer says communications are ok; CT tried several computers without success. Instead of a simple Pass/Fail test, I have to 1) fail (local stations); 2) retest (local station); 3) request a challenge test (CT emissions office); 4) finally have the auto tested on dyno, etc. (CT emissions office). Result: 4 attempts before the state will pass me for one year only.


Does anyone else suffer the same issue? Software was updated (failed) as well as back-rev'd (failed).
