Trooper Feels Like E-Brake On While Driving Also Wet Floor Mat

When backing up and initially starting out my 94 Trooper feels like it has the E-BRAKE on. 120k 5speed V6. I'm not sure if this is a cold weather issue but even aftera decent drive, and you'd suspect the vehilce to be 'warm' it still does it [feels like ebrake is on] when coming into the drive way.

Any ideas?

Secondly, I noticed, during the summer that the driver side floor mat was often wet. Any clue?

The ebrake cable could be stiff.

I would pump the handle a 100 time and see if that helps.

the wet floor during the summer only could mean that your AC drain hose it plugged up or your windsheild dash plastic pan drain hose is plugged up.

Do you mean just pull the handle all the way up and then down a 100x? I'm fine with that, but I don't see the ebrake light on.

I'll give it a try. I've noticed this has happened within the last month.

Lastly, it doesn't feel like this while driving only when pulling into park and reversing out to go.
