I recently had a wreck in March and my 97' J30 looked like this

I parted out that wreck and got my new 94' J30
.
This car is basically in perfect condition and I'm not going to wreck this one.

I love my J30 T, but I have to tell you, when you need it fixed, it is very expensive. I am not very handy at mechanical things. I picked mine up about 3 years ago with only 59k miles on it for $8k. Since then, it has been through hell from my teen son! LOL! Oh well, he has his own car now and I plan on getting it repainted to its original silver beauty.

Your J really looks good! I'm having a problem with my cigarette lighter. Checked the fuse and it's fine, but lighter won't work, any suggestions.

Even though technically i own a j30 (for a few more months at least) and a mustang... i'll still post here i can still pass a bit of knowledge to those who seek it.

how did you get it to go past redline? i got to 147 and bout 6900 rpm but it wouldnt pull anymore. just sat there. also didnt you change your gauges to glow gauges or did you take them off? in bout 2 years im dropping a 5spd 300zx TT engine in my J30. ive been planning it and checking out 300zx TT and it looks definately possible. hardest part of the swap is gonna be setting up the clutch system. yah here are some pics:
