1995 lights stay on

Hey hopefully someone can help me out seems there are many knowledgable people here.... I have a 1995 eighty eight. Its got all the automatic lights and everything. The headlights won't go off now, to get dash lights I must hit the headlight or driving light switch. I have been unplugging the big fuse under the hood for the headlights for right now... wondering what may be the problem.?...

Thanks,
Ron

Welcome to AF. Is the twilite sentinel set to the maximum 2 minute after shutdown delay, or does this happen during daytime, have you tried shutting of the tw lite sentinel completely? Lots of info missing here.

It does it all the time night and day... I was thinking it could be one of those sensors but changing the sentinel control doesn't make a difference even turning of that control doesn't..just let me know any more information you need thanks for your help so far.

No daytime running lites on a 95 right, are the tailites on also, if so and no daytime running lites, check for a bad headlamp relay in the under hood relay panel I believe.

Re: 1995 lights stay on

pull them and reinstall each until the headlights go out. once the lights go out, you've found it. I believe it is also possible that this doesn't have a headlight relay, but I could be wrong.

The switch is also a possiblilty.
