where is the Catylitic Converter

where exactly is the Catylitic Converter on a 2000 pontiac gt 3400 6cyl

Looking under the car toward the front you will see a pipe that comes down to a muffler looking thing.
This is the Catylitic Converter.

Kinda looks like that!

The part after the triangle flange is the resonator(dont know what it resonates)
then out and over to the muffler.
