Re: Code 32

The egr system is not operating as expected by the pcm, bad valve , clogged passages are some possibilities.

Re: Code 32

I want to make sure I did this right. I put my code key in the diag. connector (terminals A and B). I thought the SES light was supposed to flash several times to let you know it's working correctly. Well I turned the key "on" and the SES blinked once then twice....once then twice....once then twice....then gave the code 32 (3 blinks...pause...2 blinks). Did I do it correctly? The only reason I ask is because I thought it was supposed to flash several times before it spit out a code. There is no code 12 is there? Thanks

Re: Code 32

oh yeeeaaah!!! duh! I just thought that the last time I did it, the light blinked several times (like 12) rather than showing 1 then 2 flashes. What would you recommend for the 32? thank you

Re: Code 32

Check for clogged passages to and under the egr, confirm egr operation, you will need a scanner to do this properly. check the connections at the egr also.
