91 Calais, V4 3.6 liter
92000 miles I am the current owner of one very problematic 91 Calais. Today, after just replacing the 2nd alternator belt in 3 months on the car, my husband drives it to work, and when I arrive there to retreive something out of the back of my car I realize that the radiator resevoir had overflowed. I have NO idea why this is, since we just completely overhauled our radiator system 4 months ago. I'm talking new caps, new hoses, and a new radiator fan. Since the Calais has no temperature gauge, we weren't able to tell how badly it was overheating in the first place because the temperature gauge light never came on. I have absolutely no idea what could be happening with my car, and I was hoping that someone else would... could this just possibly be a fluke that occured with replacing the belts on my car this morning, or could this be death finally wrapping its cold hands on my car and not letting go?Help!!!!! |

Did anyone check the thermostat? A overheating motor will push coolant out of the overflow. |
