Did anyone get any Mclaren related Christmas Presents?

Show off your new wares here -

For me it was (hopefully) a successfull bid on a 1/43 GTR from my Dad (he can't remember which one though, he isn't 'savvy' on computers being a pensioner!!) - If he doesn't win I am sure I can make him feel guilty enough to bid for another

So, what did you get?......

I got myself the Tag Heuer 1/43 scale from Minichamps (finally) and the rather ugly Hanschke & Harsch special edition 1/43rd scale Minichamps that I plan to de-gold using pieces from a normal one.

Nothing F1 related from anyone else this year.

Was a scanner on your wish list? (mind you, you seem to be adding some great posts without one!)

I bought myself one of these during December

so I can count that as a pressie to myself, and I have ordered one of these (I love the colour)

PS - I might take a closer look at this as well, chassis #14R

That's pretty cool, Archangel. Where did you get that from? Is it available online? What do you think of the quality??

I'd like to echo this, It looks a subtle, understated item of clothing, only the people in the know know what it is - just what i like to wear!

Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren related Christmas Presents?

I just happen to search if anyone had any McLaren stuff on Cafepress. Apparently a person by the name of Superbug has stuff on there. Click here for the shirt and other items with the same design.

The person has other designs on their site. (Just thought I'd mention that I'm in no way affiliated with this person. It was just a random search on the site since I also own a store on there.)

The quality is what you'd expect from an image printed directly onto the shirt. It is by no means a super quality shirt. The image is not bright. It is more a novelty and conversation starter than anything else. I've had other items from Cafepress and it works for its intentions. Obviously not an official McLaren released item.

Just a cautionary note.. the black shirts, as with any black cotton shirt, will fade. The white design will turn to a gray over time.
