Re: Wanted

i've got a set of 4 wire hub caps and three trim caps. the locks i have are from a 94 caprice classic, so they wont fit. the overall length of the locks is too long.

I have 5 of the original 1986/1987 style hubcaps if we can work out the logistics of getting them to you from the Phoenix/AZ metro area.

These are the hubcaps you see on this picture:

I no longer use them as I have the Chevy truck rallye wheels on the car now.

Re: Wanted

i dont have pictures right now, but they are in great condition, and are the original wire hub caps that was an option on pretty much every caprice ever made. they are 15" hubcaps.

the locks will not work with the current wheels you have, but i'm sure that either you could find a set of locks, or get a set of four newer caprice wheels that are slightly deeper. the difference is about 1/8 - 1/4 inch.

i dont think that they could be machined down, but maybe persuaded with a sledge hammer... i dont know.

as for the trim caps, they are in perfect condition... there is just one missing. aparently it fell off.

they are the little piece that has the caprice emblem on it and covers the bolt that bolts the hubcap to the lock.

Re: Wanted

I've got a wire set off a '84 Caprice with the hub brackets that I'll let go for $50 plus shipping from zip code 11795 (Long Island, NY) if you're interested, email me off the list and I'll take some pictures of them. They're in good shape with minor scrapes on them. I'll even toss in the correct oversized lug nuts.

Bob
