1970 Plymouth Superbird

Revell's Richard Petty Superbird kit. I used Dupli-color Orange Mist Metallic, wih black vinyl top.
This is my first build that i added some costom touches to. Added ignition wires and coil, rubber water lines to the firewall and rubber return line. Not the best but I have improved so I can only get better i guess

Nice work Dave! I can see your skills are improving. Automotive paint is fun to work with, huh? I got some of the Duplicolor Mirage paint and did my mouse, keyboard, and phone to match my desk accessories already done! YES, I've gone and "Pimped My Desk!" I'll get some pics later.

I think, that blue looks more impressive, but this one is also nice

I think this turned out quite nice. I like the added details also. Maybe I missed it in your wip, but how did you do the roof? Is it just paint? Anyway, good job on this very special muscle car, looking forward to your next project.

Great work, your paint looks good. Nice subtle detailing in the engine compartment. You builds are getting better with each on you do!

I had some material that I thought would work for the vinyl top but the grain looked unrealistic, so i decided to just brush it with Tetors Flat Black.
Not the greatest solution but none the less did the job!

Thanks for all comments.....I am ressurecting a model my father and I did about 15 years ago, its Richard Petty Pontiac Grand Prix 1/16th scale that has been broken and beaten so i'll see if i can bring it back to life!
