car antenna
i have a 1992 buick regal.it had a elec antenna but it broke.i got another one but its not elec its a small black one about 8 bucks.it had a male connector on the end so i had to get a slicer kit.i have did this a few time and all i get it static.i did a good job on using the splice kit to at a female connector i cut of my old intenna.any sujectings why im not getting any radio stations?

antennas are a passive device, but it often relies on the roof to be a ground plane - so it has to be grounded propery.
