1992 90k 3800 running bad - coils?
1992 90k 3800 I have the three coil pack . How can I test them? and are they easy to change? The car just started to run bad, missing, sputtering last week when cold and/or raining and the check engine light is NOT coming on . The know-it-alls I work with said weak or bad coils, and they look original . Any answers or ideas are appreaciated , and Merry Christmas to all . sophemae

If it is a dead miss, check for spark at each cylinder, what you describe can be any number of things, basic diagnostics are in order prior to replacing parts.
