Re: Turbo dead
I welded up a box to replace the turbo so i could get to work and back, i have put a rebuild kit through the turbo and it it feels beautiful compared to the play that was in it before, but i just cant seal the exhaust side 100%, if i fill it with oil and let it sit then it will leak oil slowly i am starting to think even a brand new one would do that. Anyone gotta new T25 lying around that they could fill with oil and see if it leaks out the exhaust side? I figure it would be a similar seal on yo piston rings, and if yo motor was left upside down it would leak past the rings. I want to put it back in the car tonight...so any peer pressure to do so would be appreciated. PS Shaft balancing is for hippies.
