What to do?
Hello,
I still have my 95 rodeo sitting on my property... Looks great, blown motor. The frame has some rust on it, nothing has poked through yet.... but probably will happen soon. I went to a local car auction and sitting on the lot is a 95 rodeo with the word "Donation" written on it. It has 138k on the odometer. I popped the hood and saw that the timing belt had burst throught the belt cover... The frame does not have a spec of rust on it. It is an automatic, my Rodeo was a 5 speed. At first I thought I could get it and throw the engine into my rodeo... but now I feel I could just get that one running. A plus is that its an automatic and my wife does not drive stick. I also have all new belt parts because my rodeo blew right after the belt rebuild. Same color interior. It looks like it is purple, not my favorite color... I offered the guy $200.00. He said he wanted $500.00. I think thats a lot for something that is not running and I would have no idea of the condition of the engine. It is a low end auction, cars don't go for much. I watched a 1991 rodeo go throught the auction, running, decent shape, only got to $800. So, why didn't this guy bite on my offer? It is still sitting there.... |

why don't you come up to 300 and see if the guy bites on it? p.s. if you "score" it we can call you barney.
