DBZ = anime boom
I know dragonball wasn't the first popular anime in America (gigantor, speed racer, voltron, countless others) but do you think it sparked an evolution that changed anime from the way it was before? Why or why not?

Kinda of a dead forum here...
I gotta say it really did, along with (gasp!) Pokemon. They both blew up the anime scene, especially for Cartoon Network.

Yeah you're right pokemon did a lot, and pokemon made even more money with cards and video games.
