beetle vs. sc300

You guys might remember the sc300 that made a few appearances in my old videos. (http://www.putfile.com/devster20/media) The other night we ran the two of them. The first 2 races were with my buddy driving the lexus. He started in 2, and then went to drive at the end pf 2nd, and the beetle started in 3rd. The lexus would pull away about a car length every gear, and at the end pf the gear the beetle wouild hit its sweet spot and come up even again. This went on until I would hit the 120 limiter.

3rd and 4th races we switched cars. Driving the lexus I would start in drive, and each time the beetle would pull ahead 1-2 cars when the lexus downshifts, and it would stay that way the entire race.

5th race of that night we raced a 2.0 golf witha guy and a girl in it. Even with 4 people in the beetle. We had a bus length on it pretty quick and then he just gave up. I guess stock 2.0s aren't very quick.

O.T. The VW is a bit faster than the storm was. Its very noticable from a roll.

I got it on video, but I need to buy a new firewire cable. Neither car in my opinion would be considered expensive. I'm not sure how much the lexus is worth but I payed 8500 for the beetle.
