1:24 Revell Ferrari F430

Well it took a while, I started this build in April this year  . But, today I parked this F430 Modena in my display. Offcourse I took some pictures, they are not the best (I'll try to make outdoor's asap). I really learned a lot on this model, but there is still a lot to learn. Here is a list of everything I used on this build:
Color body: Dupli Color 20-0720
Color interior and engine: Tamiya Acrylic
Color wheels: Alclad II Polished Aluminium
Polishing: Novus Polishing pads and compound
Capeting: Flocking
Extras: Aftermarket seatbelts
Emblem: E-Jan Ferrari Emblem (Model Factory Hiro)
Logos: Crazy Modeler Ferrari Metal Transfers
Dispite that I learned a lot, there is still more to learn. This is the list of what thougt of:
- More carefull with the painted body
- Glueing clearparts
- Painting windowtrim
- Detailpainting by hand
- Attach small stuff as mirrors later (this is the fifth time glueing them on  )
I you see any more comments, please let me know. And now, here are the crappy pictures:
The interior, the seats are semi-gloss, the trim is matt:

Overall view, Revell did quite good overall:

The engine, nicelly detailed

The details, nice finish with Aclad II on the wheels and the wondelfull Metal Transfers:

Revell did quite a good job, but there are some minor mistakes. The ride heigt in front is wrong. The enginelid doesn't close properly, but the worst is that the clearparts don't fit very well.
Please let me now what you think of this build (good and bad offcourse). I hope to make some outdoor pictures with the Spider .

Gerwin

Looks nice, your right about the front end not sitting well. Are you going to mess with it or just leave it?

Looks nice. If I would change anything to make it look even better I would paint the edges of the headlamp glass pieces black. Now it shines bright wich looks a bit unrealistic. Think it would be a big lift for the appearance of this otherwise very well built model !
