no start..
do i need to have the srs aig bag computer pluged in to let my car turn over??
first shot with the jdm swap.. and not even a sound... |

i assume you haven't run those wires to the back, right? did you get my PM?

i wired up what i belive to be the fuel pump.. 5 wires?? if they are the same color codes anyways.. and there was the brown cover over them.. any way i got it to crank over fine.. but no spark and no fuel.. when i turn the key on the fuel pump doesnt click on at all.. not even for a secend.. I have the feeling this is going to take a while.. haha

you should prime the oil and fuel systems before you try to start it.
oil is easy, simply unplug the CAS, and turn the engine over a few times. as for the fuel, well you would need a datalogger to activate the fuel pump to fill the lines with fuel. i'm not aware of any other way to prime the fuel system. so you'll just have to keep cranking until fuel fills the lines and becomes pressurized.

Well my CAS should be working fine.. its plugged in.. ECI...( electric control ignition?? ) all the fuses are in and look in good shape i will test them tomorrow.. any other ideas? so wait.. does are fuel pump not kick on when you turn the key to the on position? like a self prime system most cars have?? this is new to me.. are there any JDM wire diagrams any of you have seen? I have lots more questions with most likely simple solutions that i am just spaceing or not aware of i will post as i get more and more into this thing.. i want to have the car running by or at least on sunday

Is there a fuel cut out switch.. that might have to be manualy switched back? similar to the ones that if you get in a wreack it shuts off the fuel?

HELL YEA!!!! it started up.. still no fuel but it has spark.. nothing a can of either can help haha ok.. now its just the easy part.. fuel.. kinda.. any ideas would be great thanks!

ok!! she started up and sounds great.. i let her idle for about 20 minuts.. the idle slowly went down and down to a more normal one.. i have 2 questions now.. is there a specail way to fill your power steering fluid?? i put a quart and 1 half in and it stoped taking any more in but it is squeeling like a bitch!! and second.. after 20 minuts i looked at my guages.. that i didnt think worked.. and my temp guage was working and showed i was just perfect temp.. and then the oil guage said i had no oil pressure.. so i shot it off .. now i dont think i would have been able to run for 20 minuts without oil.. so i am almost positive that it is just my sensor or somthing.. any thoughts??

Haha I would be willing to bet a lot of money that it is either not hooked up right or is broken. They are very notorious for going out on our cars. My car's oil pressure guage almost always reads "0"
