Loose Steering

After chaniging a 'strut bearing' on the passager side. My car feels like the 'steering is loose' when driving down the highway at 60+ mph, You have to really use both hands to keep it from 'drifting'. Anybody have any ideas? Alignment? Thanks

Any time you do any kind of front end work, you need to have it re-aligned. Always get a four-wheel alignment, not just the front end, to make sure the car is straight as an arrow. The shop will probably push a four-wheel anyway to get the extra bucks but it should still be only about 75 or 80 bucks.

Just to note a slight Toe in tightenes that slop you feel. Too much toe in will cause it to "take off", or want to turn too much too fast, besides wearing the tires.

An allignment is most often in your favor when your needing front end attention. Good technicians have the skills to check for looseness in other parts.. Its this technical knowledge and those trained hands, eyes and equipment that you pay for.

Yup, as already been said you need an alignment. Might as well check out your other front end parts (namely tie rods and ball joints) for slop as they will require an alignment if they're bad.
