Brake Indicator Light Beeps When Accelerating
I have a 94 Buick Lesabre and the brake light indicator on the dash beeps and lights up whenever I accelerate in cold weather. Also, I am hearing a light scraping sound at times when I am driving slowly. Can anyone pinpoint the problem for me? Thanks!

It sounds like your wear indicators are trying to tell you, to replace the pads.
When the pads wear down, the caliper retains fluid from the master cylinder, so therefore, the fluid level sensor in the master cylinder will sound the “chime warning”, to alert you to add more fluid.

Re: Brake Indicator Light Beeps When Accelerating
Our 92 Lesabre just started doing the same thing lately since the outside temp has dipped in our area. Our pads are good and we just had rears done a couple months ago. (Man these cars are tough on brakes.) I think that this may be some kind of vacuum leak as it only does it on initial acceleration. I've noticed that if you accelerate hard the light stays on longer. If you baby it, it may not go on at all. I'm willing to bet that if the temp outside goes up, this symptom may disappear. Funny thing is I logged in to this site tonight to see if anyone else experienced this problem and found your post right away. I'll let you know if I find anything out. Would appreciate if you did the same. Mitch

Re: Brake Indicator Light Beeps When Accelerating
I feel like an idiot but my brake fluid was just low. My pads were so worn that more fluid was being used to depress the calipers, turning on the sensor light on the dash.
