a sad day for a local j-body owner

to day on my way home from school and me and my friend were driving down the road we take everyday and a horrible accident happened right in front of us, there was a white sunfire then a green probe behind that then a blue taurus behind the probe and me behind them all a little way down the road.

so i was driving along and saw the taurus try to pass the probe right as the road turned into a double solid line(but just incase you did not know....all teenagers are invincible in cars) well the reason he was passing the probe was cuz the probe was slowing down and acting like he was turning right to go into a housing development but the real reason he was slowing down was cuz the sunfire was turning left into his house.....well since the taurus assumed the probe was turning he decided to go around him going about 80mph(stupid to be going 80 mph in the first place, but once again all teenagers are invincable) but as he was passing he realized the white sunfire was turning left infront of him so he slammed on the brakes but it was a little too late.

he slammed into the sunfire and made it flip about 3 times and land on its roof about 200 feet down the road from the driveway he was turning into and then slid into a ditch, when i got there about 10 seconds later i rushed to the sunfire and called 911, the sunfire had a friend of mine in it with her father driving, the taurus had a kid in it that i knew and that had had a previous incedent in a car(ran into a support beam that held an overhang on the school)

the driver side of the sunfire was smashed in and i could not even tell there was a person there, the friend that was in the passenger seat was fine for what i could tell maybe some minor damage and was tring franticly to get out the back window that was all broken and rigid and the driver of the taurus was not wearing a seat belt and slammed his head on the windshield but all he had was a cut on his head

after about 2 minutes of standing there trying to get the friend to stay calm and not try to get out of the broken window the EMT showed up and took it from there and made me go home and i later found out that the friend and kid driving the taurus were fine but the driver of the sunfire died in that accedent

all i can say is life sucks for good people that follow the laws because a good man died today for something that was not his fault and the person that was at fault was not even badly injured and the friend of mine will never see her father alive again

please keep the family in the accedent in your prayers and never forget that there are stupid people out there on the road so keep your guard up be smart when driving a car
