Parking lot battle of the century

So, my room mate and I decided to go out and have some fun, and maybe race a bit. For those needing updates, he has a 2005 Acura TSX with Injen CAI and Comptech Ehxaust and Headers.

So, we find a good empty spot to race. It just happened to be a parking lot, but meh, a race is a race.

So, we line up at one end of the lot, at the very edge, and decide to race to the other end. I told him to count us down the first time. He honks three times, and we floor it, and damn, he shoots the fuck off. Then I realized I was in reverse. I slam it into drive, stnad on it, and slowly catch up to him, my nose behind his rear door when we shut down. I say lets try again, this time with me not going backwards at first, and he agrees.

We turn back and head across the parking lot, starting where we were the first time. I honk us down this time, and on the thrid honk, we both punch it. I get a good launch, and creep away from him. Sixty comes and goes after about a scant three seconds, I stay on it, slowly crepping up to near 115, staying hard on the gas, look back, my roommate is about two cars back, I'm going 120, so I let off.

It should be of note that this entire race took place with two cars on summer tires on ice. I think the fastest we hit before letting off in actual forward speed was maybe five miles an hour...

Re: Parking lot battle of the century

LMAO, nice races. I like the one where you put it in reverse. The whole time i was reading that i was just thinking of that pic of cassie with about 8 inches of snow on it and i was wondering how it melted so fast. But at the end it all made sense

Re: Parking lot battle of the century
