Help - 95 Bonny - Coolant Line Connector Broke on Intake

95 Bonneville SSEi (supercharged)
Just got towed home.

A plastic hose connector has broke. Located on passenger side, can see it just below the super charger - in the intake. The smaller hose runs from the intake to the coolant pump.

Looks like I have to take the supercharger & intake off - but what then? How the hell am I going to fix this thing? It looks like it was pressed into the intake (which is aluminum) not threaded - dunno for sure until I take it all apart - anybody has an idea - please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Help - 95 Bonny - Rad Line Connector Broke on Intake

For anyone who has the same problem with this...
- first off this is a known problem - the dealers are selling steel replacement host-connectors
- use a hacksaw blade to cut a slot into the plastic all the way to the threads in the intake.
- Cut another directly across from it same manner
- use a chisel, push in and line up with the slots, then turn out. The remains of the plastic should turn out with a bit of force.
- use a shop-vac to vacuum out any plastic pieces from inside the intake.
- screw in the new piece by hand.
- youll need to pull back the tensioner to get a socket onto the hose connector. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
- top'er up and you are DONE
