how do i know what cylinder head has Vtec?
I got a head from my friend and he said it was from a B16 w/Vtec. The valve cover did not say DOC V-Tec. There is some numbers and letters on it that say PR4-2. I tryed to look for honda codes and stuff but no luck
. please help if can.

Re: how do i know what cylinder head has Vtec?
try to find the VTEC solenoid...it is a small solenoid right next to the distributor
i'm pretty sure that a PR4-2 is just a non-vtec B18A1 head....i could be wrong though

the actual solenoid itself is above that...it is the little copper colored cylinder, but the arrow is pointing to the right place
