97 Explorer tail-light question.

I hit my buddy's tail-light on his 97 explorer when i was backing out of his drive way. Im planning on going to the junk yard tomorrow, but i was wondering what year Explorer's have the same tail-light as the 1997 explorer.

Thanks,

I'm not sure, but you could probably check eBay really quick. You should be able to get a good idea of which model years are compatible from a quick eBay search.

do a search for keystone automotive lights this company is one of the largest supplier of aftermarket replacement lamps. you will be surprised at the cost on these lenses chances are the salvage yards will be the same price for used scratched ones

Re: 97 Explorer tail-light question.

According to my crash book, from 2/95-97 are the same marker. 95 had 2 different listings and 98-01 are definitely different. I put a 97 rear fender on a 99 XL and couldn't use the 97 marker.
