2001 Protegé Passenger Mirror
While I was playing ball hockey with my son yesterday, I took a slap shot and while barely missing the top corner of the net, had a direct hit on my wife's passenger side rearview mirror! The look on her face was worth it!!
The mirror is not a power mirror, only the glass broke. The housing is intact. I didn't notice any clips on the backside of the mirror (mind you there were a million pieces). Does anyone know how to replace the mirror on the existing housing? Thanks for your help! Last edited by papanots; 11-27-2006 at 09:28 AM. |

Re: 2001 Passenger Mirror
The best option is to buy and entire mirror assembly (fairly easy to install) for $67.21 online. You can also buy a self adhesive replacement mirror from most autoparts stores for about $10 - $15. I've done the latter and it worked out just fine, but I just don't trust it as much.
