Just the obvious, it's all about prep work. Use a high solids 2 component urethane primer. Look carefully for defects after priming! Make sure you use proper protection when painting, especially when using 2 component primers and clearcoats. The isocynide (hardener) is a serious sensitizer. If you use it make sure you wear a hood with positive pressure air supply and cover yourself to minimize exposure to skin.
