88 manual transmission

hey i have a 88 pickup 2 wheel drive with 22r. it has a 4 speed manual tranny. thing is, i want a 5 speed, do they make these trucks with a 5 speed? i want to find one to rebuild and put in. i heard the 4x4 had a 5 speed. i just hate the 4 speed b/c of high rpm's on highway, i want O/D

Yes, but you may need a different drive shaft. Check with places that sell JDM motors.
