p0141B

My light came on today and this is the code that was taken from the computer. Is this the sensor after the converter?Should I take it out and clean it before I replace it?The light has one out now but i think the garage may have reset the codes after they checked it.Can A bad Thermostat not letting the engine reach proper temp cause this code? The temp gauge hardly ever gets past 1/4 and according to the degrees it should go close to 1/2.

Re: p0141B

Ok now that means something, again the code is incomplete, but the 02 sensor on one of the banks, this is the mssing number, has an incomplete heater circuit, either bad 12v wiring and/or gd to the suspect sensor, or a bad sensor. Not related to any temperature issue with the engine. The b should be a number, some out there is msisng some info for you, again the number that will point out the specific sensor so a proper diagnosis can be performed by the party doing the repairs.
