hypertech- Is it too early?

i have a 97 blazer, and i put a new jasper motor in it a little back, ended up floding my car in a mud hole and filled the tranny with mud, motor was fine, i got the tranny rebuilt, as of now the motor has and tranny has about 700 miles between mainly highway and backroads with some city driving, everything seems well broken in. i had a hypertech before the new motor, once i was gonna get the motor i took it out, but i wanted to know if it would be ok to put the engine tunning and tranny options back in?

Re: hypertech- Is it too early?

I would give the new tranny 3000miles to wear in properly before you install the tune.

The hypertech will increase line pressure for firmer shifts and you do not want that firmness when braking it in.

Give it 3000miles and then enjoy.
