Clutch removal instructions
Guys, I just ordered the 6 sprung clutch disk for my burned ACT2600 and I have decided to change the clutch myself (and my dad of course). I looked and searched here and on dsmtuners for the write up on how to do it on a AWD but could not find it. Can any one please copy and paste the write up.
Also which way is easier: 1. Take engine out 2. take tranny out 3. Give it to a mechanic for $800

Re: Clutch removal instructions
Which is easier? I would say taking it to the mechanic for $800, but now when I think about it you have to work harder to save up for that $800 (or pay it off) which would actually make it harder to do then.
EDIT: Basically just dropping the tranny should be good enough. Not too bad. Just don't literally drop it.

Like I said, easiest way is to take the tranny out the side.

Re: Clutch removal instructions
Chiltons flat rate guide shows 6.8 hours for a clutch install. $800 is way above going price. One of the only reasons I still work at a car dealership is becasue of the $35 hour shop rate we get as employees..
