Hi All,
Due to oil leak, I would like to replace the cylinder head valve cover gasket on my '00 540i. Does someone have a step by step procedure in doing this? Before I begin the job, I would like to know what's involved. I have the manual and there's no specific section for replacing the valve cover gasket only. There is a section for replacing the cylinder head gasket but don't want to follow this that I may end up removing parts that don't need to be removed such as intake and exhaust manifolds. Thanks in advance for your help.-Peter
