Help! Key won't work. 87 190e
My key won't turn in the ignition. In order to remove the switch, I have to turn the key to position 1. I need to replace the switch because the key won't turn. If I could get the key into position 1, I wouldn't need to replace it. Since I can't turn the key, I CAN'T replace it.
 Who designed this thing?  Can anyone help me?

Solved the problem by throwing money at it. Made some poor sucker at an autoshop drill the lock cylinder out. He retaliated by making me give him $850.
I think it hurt me more than him.
