Welcome to AF !

Does the grinding go away when you turn left or right ?

If it does I'd say one of your wheel hub/bearings are going bad.

Your brakes can also drag and make a grinding noise,
does it get worse when you press the brake ? or let off ?

Could be having something in the trans then.

If the starters loose it could grind on the flywheel, or the dust cover for the flywheel could be rubbing.

Try checking that out, may have to take it to a shop with a lift to have it checked out.
