Transmission tranny whining 95 SE
I have a 96 there is a whining sound from the tranny in park and neautral .
Any ideas. Go away in gear. Drives and shifts well. Thanks |

This usually means the the front pump on the transmission is developing a problem. I would change the fluid and filter and then add a can of Sea Foam transmission additive to the fluid. This may quiet the pump and save you some grief, but eventually you will have to replace the pump or transmission. Just remember change fluid and filter only by dropping the pan. Do not flush the transmission.
