Location of Turbine speed control (part)
My system light indicates a malfunctioning turbine speed control. I went to Auto zone and found the part, its only 14.99 and has a wire plug connection to one end of it and a small bolt to connect it to the trans. It looks like the other end fits into the side of the trans. Anybody know where it belongs on the trans? Bottom, top, side ???? Also called a speed sensor. Can this part if it malfuntions cause shifting problems?? Thanks

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is located on the right transaxle extension (passenger side). It could cause shifting problems but the PCM module uses it for the speedometer too. See below.
