1997 Bonneville BCM Location?

Can anyone tell me "EXACTLY" where the Body Control Module (BCM) is located on a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville? Also, if you know the procedures to
locate, remove, and replace the module I would appreciate that info too.

Thanks.

Re: 1997 Bonneville BCM Location?

The BCM is not DIY serviceable. It has to be programmed to your specific VIN# at a dealer. For reference, it is located up under the passenger side dashboard in the glove box area.

I ordered it from a dealer that took my VIN to ensure he got the right part. Does that imply the BCM was "programmed".
