2001 T&C Error Codes P0700 & P0740

My check engine light just came on - stopped at autozone and am getting P0700 and P0740 error codes. I suspect the Solenoid pack - can probaby pick one up - any ideas other than the dealer?- is it tough to replace? I plan to replace the fluid and filter (ATF+4) - Is this fluid still only available at the dealer?

Even though you have the codes take it to a tranny shop and get them to check it for you. There are a lot of problems with Chrysler minivan transmissions. Changing the solenoid pack is not really a do it yourself job but you may also have a problem with the trans control unit. You should be able to get ATF+4 at any autoparts store along with a filter.
