Price Check, Aisle 3....

Okay, I am trying to figure out if this is a decent price for a 71 2dr 510 (all stock). He is asking $300 in Ohio, I live in VA, and the engine just froze up (still trying to figure out EXACTLY what that means). Decent price, even if I have to have it shipped out to VA? Let me know.

Re: Price Check, Aisle 3....

depends on the condition of the unibody (shell). every thing else is replaceable for not that much $$$.
a good low rust shell is easily worth $500, so $300 for the car and then you have to add what it will cost you to transport it.

Re: Price Check, Aisle 3....

Thanks for the reply. I decided to pass because when I pressed the guy on the condition, his exacts words were, there are lots of bondo where the metal isn't completely gone. It sounds like a total mess, and it was a farm car of some sort, so the condition was suspect from the get go. Was kind of hoping to find that diamond in the rough though...oh well. The search continues.
