Re: Wheels!!!

ummm no, and i dont think those rims pictured are for a 88. actually im pretty sure, but you will have to get some ....... either adapters or spacers. im not too sure but you will need one or the other.

Re: Wheels!!!

That is a Z06 style wheel, the exact same ones (except for the 2-piece styling) that I have on my '88 C4. Mine are 18"s front and rear. I saw some ZR1 styled wheels on a Z28 the seemed to fit pretty well.
I would think that the 9 1/2" width would fit your T/A, hard to say if the 10 1/2" wheels would work. You'd have to take some accurate measurements and compare back spacing.
I have a set of chrome G.M. Z06 wheels that I can measure for you. The fronts are 9 1/2 X 17, the rears are 10 1/2 X 18.

Expect to pay $1K to $1200 for tires though.

Let me know of you need #s.

Re: Wheels!!!

the rims pictured could fit an 88 corvette so i thought they might fit a t/a. i was hoping the bolt pattern would match up thats the big thing. what would i have to do to get those rims to fit my car, like what spacers would i need if i even needed them.

also is there only a certain kind of tire i could use?
couldent i just buy some 120 dollar tires? for 17x7's

Re: Wheels!!!

Are those 17s or 18s? The ones on my car now are 18 front and rear. I priced several different brands of tires and nothing was cheap for an 18" wheel. I chose Nitto Extreme Performance tires, fronts were in the $240 range and rears were $270-ish. 285/35 rubber is never cheap. I opted for road hazzard so that tacked on some extra $$$

I can measure my other set tomorrow and give you specs for the 17s and the 18s.
The bolt pattern is the same for Camaro/Vette/S-10.

Re: Wheels!!!

i would want rear 18 x 10.5 and Front 17 x 9.5 / 56mm offset. i would probably get the rear tire 295 35 18 / and the front tire 265 40 17 Firestone Firehawk wide oval. i think that would look sick. it would work on my car right>?
