Actron Scanners

Does anyone have any experience with these scanners? They're sold at Sears, Checkers, Autozone, etc. I visited their official site and I saw their $400 scanner CP9150 with domestic OBD-I cables and the OBDII cable. They also claim its CAN compatible, is this worth it or is there a better buy out there?

I bought one online for 299 plus shipping, it is the same as a 9145 except you can scan domestic obd1. Basic scanner, you can check emissions ready monitors, clear codes, generic obd11, see live sensor feedback, no abs, no bcm, no trans codes. Not a professional tool, but ok for basic scanning. Remember getting the codes is one thing, finding the problem requires extensive diagnostic info, not available here without paying a fee for tech help.

Re: Actron Scanners

Does anyone know where to get the CP9145UA CAN update kit? The only place I've seen it is on Actron's web site.

Has anyone installed the CAN update on this model yet?
