Help!! Volume turns down on its

Own, when I'm slowing down. But when i keep the speed up or keep a steady speed limit it will remind the same. I don't what the problem is. But I just recently replaced all the speakers inside. the connections are tight, Does it have anyting to do with routing the power & rca cables together on the floorboard of my 91 civic hacthback...................thanks Rich

Usually running speaker and power cables together produces a hum. Either way, fix that first and see what happens.

some headunits have an auto volume control that sets the volume with relation to the surrounding noise, when the car is moving the external noise is high so it keeps the volme high, when you slow down or stop the external noise is low so it will lower the volume. Look in the manual and see if your headunit has this feature, see what it says to disable it.

that's the problem with newer headunits, they have so many functions and controls that have to be accessed via a menu or submenu. It can be mis-set for months and you would nevert know.
