Dann44 vs, Corp. 10 bolt (front axle)
I have the chance to buy a Dana 44 from an early 80s Blazer can I swap that in place for my 89 10-bolt front axle?
direct swap? mods needed?

Re: Dann44 vs, Corp. 10 bolt (front axle)
Haven't done this but here's a link to a conversion of a K5 blazer conversion that might give you some ideas what to expect. http://coloradok5.com/axleswap.shtml Of course you'll want to make sure the gear ratios between the axles match. Good Luck.
