Re: 345 hp aurora

how did you happen to increase the bore in the engine with the sleeves in the cylinders? i was under the presumption that you could not do any upgrades on these engines.

Re: 345 hp aurora

If you bore it w/ these engines, you can run to thin and there goes your head. I would not do it, your nuts if you do!

Hi Aurora gang, jes' cruising through.
Speaking of cylinder sleeves, I know a guy who used chrome-moly sleeves/stainless steel rings on his BBC race motor ...strong stuff.

Re: 345 hp aurora

Instead of spending $10,000 on an Aurora to get 340HP and still have a crappy GM car you could have gone to a dealer and bought a 2002-3 Infiniti M45 or Q45 for about $17,000-18,000 and got 345HP out of the untouched factory car, super ride and handling and super stereo plus 5.7sec 0-60 and 150mph controlled speed and saved alllllllllllll that trouble.

Were those the engines that had weak piston rings that couldn't keep oil out of the combustion chambers and had that blue smoke cloud behind them? I know where there's 4 of them.

Forget making rice, go with the kangaroo from Holden, 6 liters are hard to beat. Rice burners are for old men and teens. Get something that has some punch, then you can suck up caddys and rice.
