How do I remove oil pan 92 Toyota pickup?

I'm doing a timing chain job on my truck and the oil pan has me stuck. I've got to remove it to make sure it's cleaned of timing chain guide pieces, etc. The manual says remove the idler arm and pitman arm, but doesn't go into details. Anyone have a step by step on this? Thanks.

Have you tried looking at the suspension section of your repair manual?
Have you looked at the links to the factory service manuals at the top of this sub-forum?

Don't bother with all that. Remove the steering dampener and the crossmember. Then, unbolt the motor mounts from the frame and jack the motor up under the oil pan (use a piece of wood on the jack so you don't damage the oil pan). raiese the engine up just enough to slip a pice of 2x4 wood under each motor mount and let the engine back down to rest on the wood. This should give you plenty of clearance to remove the oil pan.
