Hello
Has anybody experienced a sticky Gas Pedal only for the fist tap on the pedal
After you get going, it is fine.Problem is intermittent.
The Car is a 2001 Aurora.

Re: Sticky Gas Pedal

There can be a carbon build up where the air intake meets the throttle valve.
Just remove tha air intake and clean the throat with WD-40 or something. Possibly setting the idle speed a little higher would help, too.

You do not need new throttle cable!
