99 sebring convertible clicking sound

Hey, I own a 1999 sebring convertible(JXI) and(this started sunday afternoon) for some reason whenever im driving it at low speeds there is a clicking sound coming from the left front part of the car. You can kinda feel the click happening as well on the steering wheel so If i had to take a guess i would say that it has something to do with the steering column. However, there is no vibration and besides the click, the car seems fine. It is just a repetitive click that stops when I brake(sound stops completely) or lessens when I accelerate(probably mostly due to engine noise). Does anyone know what this clicking sound is or what needs to be replaced?
thanks in advance

Re: 99 sebring convertible clicking sound

You need to get it checked out - this could be a symptom of an axle getting ready to fail (CV joint).
